For many years, architects, interior designers, and developers have been trying to produce a contemporary flush finish door jamb with clean lines and inconspicuous detail. EzyJamb does just that providing minimalistic sophistication in apartments, homes and commercial buildings. The case study below is an example showing products by ExyJamb used to compliment the linear design showcased in the Brooklyn riverfront property.
Case Study – One John Street
One John Street, a 12-story midrise with 47 condominium apartments on a beautiful Brooklyn riverfront property, the last waterfront site in Dumbo. A desirable location, just north of the Manhattan bridge with stunning views from all units and a close walk to the subway.
Developed and designed by Monadnock Construction and Alloy Development, the building features a grand staircase entrance, a park side lobby lounge, 24/7 doorman, fitness center, bike parking, and a landscaped common roof deck. The ground floor contains a restaurant, lobby, and annex to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, open to the public and surrounding park.
Apartments range from approx. 1,500 square feet to nearly 3,000 square feet, with views of the river, Manhattan and surrounding bridges. Boasting spacious open layouts with high ceilings and oversized windows, complimented by EzyJamb flush finish door jambs to match the linear design chosen by Alloy.
The chosen profile for the Entry Suite and interior doors was the EzyJamb Single Rabbet (SRC) door frames.
The premium design of the EzyJamb SRC provides a smooth transition from one side of the door jamb and eliminates the need for trims, allowing for a minimalistic sophistication in apartments, homes and commercial buildings.
